The Infinity Saga in Order

The Infinity Saga covers Phases 1 to 3: 36 movies and shows, starting with Iron Man. It follows the hunt for the six Infinity Stones, and it ends with Thanos’s Snap and the Avengers’ final stand.

Phase OnePhase TwoPhase Three

The Infinity Saga covers the first 23 films, from Iron Man in 2008 to Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019. Its throughline is the six Infinity Stones, introduced one at a time across a decade, and Thanos’s plan to use them to wipe out half of all life.

Most of the stones arrive as background objects (the Tesseract, Loki’s scepter, the Aether) and the films gradually reveal what they are. It all pays off in Infinity War and Endgame, which together are still the most ambitious thing a film franchise has attempted.
