Where the One-Shots fit in a rewatch
Each short is tied to a nearby movie, so the easiest way to watch them is right after their companion film. The Consultant and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer slot in after Thor and feature Agent Coulson tidying up loose ends before The Avengers. Item 47 follows two civilians who find a piece of Chitauri tech after the Battle of New York. Agent Carter picks up Peggy’s story a year after Captain America: The First Avenger and led to her own TV series.
All Hail the King is the one most worth your time. It comes after Iron Man 3 and walks back that film’s big Mandarin twist, and the payoff finally lands years later in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. If you only watch one short, make it this one, ideally just before Shang-Chi.
The Team Thor shorts and Team Darryl are mockumentary comedies from Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok era. They’re funny and harmless, but they don’t add story. Peter’s To-Do List is a deleted-scene package from Spider-Man: Far From Home rather than a true short. None of these are required viewing, and the full list of where everything fits lives in our chronological watch order.
