Ironheart Watch Order: Every MCU Appearance
To watch Ironheart in order, start with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and follow the 2 titles below in story order, ending (for now) with Ironheart: Season 1. Riri Williams builds her own legacy out of Tony Stark’s shadow.
The releases run from 2022 to 2025. That works out to 1 film and 1 series season, about 7h 11m of viewing in all.
Who is Ironheart?
Riri Williams was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodato and debuted in Invincible Iron Man #7 in 2016. She is a teenage engineering prodigy at MIT who reverse-engineers an Iron Man suit and builds her own armor. She took the Ironheart name in 2017 and has since headlined two solo series. Part of her appeal is that she's self-made, a genius who builds her way into the superhero world.
Dominique Thorne plays Riri in the MCU. She debuted in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) as an MIT student whose vibranium-detecting machine puts her in Namor's sights, and Shuri and Okoye have to track her down.
Her own Disney+ series, Ironheart, premiered on June 24, 2025, with six episodes. Riri heads home to Chicago and gets tangled up with Parker Robbins, also known as the Hood (Anthony Ramos), a gang leader whose cloak gives him dark magic. That pits her technology against magic. Marvel hasn't confirmed a second season or any other future appearances for her.
