Black Panther FAQ
What order should I watch Black Panther in?
Follow the list above, which is in story order. It differs from release order in one place: Eyes of Wakanda: Season 1 came out later than its story is set, so it sits earlier here. Release order works too, if you’d rather see things the way audiences did.
How many titles feature Black Panther?
7 so far (5 films and 2 series seasons), released from 2016 to 2025, covering Phases 3 to 6 of the MCU, with 2 more announced. That’s about 22h 37m of viewing.
How long does it take to watch every Black Panther appearance?
About 22h 37m for all 7 released titles. At two hours an evening, that’s roughly 12 sittings.
Do I need to watch the whole MCU to follow Black Panther?
No. These 7 titles tell the character’s own story, and the 3 team-up films on the list cover where it meets the wider MCU. Of these, 4 are graded Essential, so start with those if you’re short on time.
