About X-Men: Evolution

X-Men: Evolution takes the X-Men back to high school. Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat and Spyke live at Xavier's Institute in Bayville, New York, learning to control their powers while dealing with homework, dating and classmates who don't trust mutants. Powers work as a metaphor for growing up. Mystique leads a teen Brotherhood of delinquents, with Magneto pulling strings behind the scenes. Over four seasons, the stakes rise from school rivalries to public exposure and finally Apocalypse.

Marty Isenberg, Robert N. Skir and David Wise created the show, and Film Roman and Marvel Studios produced it. It aired on Kids' WB from November 4, 2000, to October 25, 2003, with 52 episodes across four seasons. The voice cast includes David Kaye as Professor X, Kirby Morrow as Cyclops, Venus Terzo as Jean, Meghan Black as Rogue, Brad Swaile as Nightcrawler and Scott McNeil as Wolverine. Longtime fans were skeptical of the teen angle at first, but the show won two Daytime Emmys for sound and kept a loyal following.

Yes. Craig Kyle created X-23 for the show, and she joined the comics afterward. Dafne Keen later played her in live action in Logan.

Why did X-Men: Evolution end after four seasons?

Is X-Men: Evolution part of the MCU?

No. It’s a Marvel title made outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
