About Marvel Anime: Wolverine

The second Marvel Anime series follows Logan to Tokyo. Mariko Yashida disappeared a year earlier, and he learns that her father, Shingen, head of the Kuzuryu crime syndicate and a supplier to A.I.M., has promised her in marriage to the violent yakuza boss Hideki Kurohagi. Logan sets out to bring her back, which means fighting through Shingen's and Kurohagi's people, including Omega Red and the swordsman Kikyo Mikage.

Madhouse made it with Marvel Entertainment and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan, with Hiroshi Aoyama directing and Kengo Kaji writing. It ran 12 episodes on Animax from January to March 2011 and reached the US on G4 that July. Rikiya Koyama voices Logan in Japanese, and Milo Ventimiglia voices him in English, with Gwendoline Yeo as Mariko and Fred Tatasciore as Shingen.
