Captain America: Brave New World opened on February 14, 2025, as Anthony Mackie's first film in the role, with Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross and the Red Hulk. It made $415 million and got mixed reviews. In May, Thunderbolts* had the reverse problem. Critics liked it and gave it 88 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, but it made $382.4 million. Marvel leaned into its ending with a rebrand after opening weekend.

On July 25, The Fantastic Four: First Steps started Phase Six with Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby on a retro 1960s Earth. It was the highest-grossing Fantastic Four film. Its mid-credits scene points toward Avengers: Doomsday. On Disney+, Daredevil: Born Again brought back Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio.
