About Iron Man and His Awesome Friends
This preschool series stars young versions of Tony Stark, Riri Williams and Amadeus Cho, three super-geniuses, who call themselves the Iron Friends. Their Iron Suits let them fly and give them super-strength, and they protect their city from their base, the Iron Quarters. Their regular enemies are Ultron and his minions Nuts and Bolts, the bug-themed villain Swarm and Absorbing Man. Most episodes contain two short stories focused on teamwork and kindness.
The show is a spin-off of Spidey and His Amazing Friends from Marvel Studios Animation and Atomic Cartoons. Sean Coyle is the showrunner, and Michael Dowding directs. It premiered on Disney Jr. on August 11, 2025. Mason Blomberg voices Tony in the early episodes and Lincoln Bonilla later, with Kapri Ladd as Riri, Aidyn Ahn as Amadeus, Tony Hale as Ultron, Vanessa Bayer as Swarm and John Stamos as Howard Stark. Reviewers found it a gentle, age-appropriate introduction to superheroes, though one noted its fast pace might overwhelm some younger viewers.
