Why it matters in the MCU

Follows the White Vision after WandaVision as he searches for who he is.

About VisionQuest: Season 1

VisionQuest picks up the White Vision introduced in WandaVision. He has his memories back but feels no emotional connection to them, and he lives in hiding while talking things over with AI personas inside his own programming. When someone puts a bounty on his head, he goes on the run with a teenager who may be his reincarnated son, Tommy. The series is set around 2028, and Ultron is back, living in Vision's mindspace.

Terry Matalas created the series, serves as showrunner and directs two episodes. Paul Bettany returns as Vision and James Spader returns as Ultron for the first time since Avengers: Age of Ultron. Ruaridh Mollica plays Tommy Maximoff, Todd Stashwick plays Paladin and T'Nia Miller plays Jocasta. The cast also gives faces to Tony Stark's AIs, including James D'Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y. and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H. It's an eight-episode Phase Six series, filmed in London in 2025 under the working title Tin Man. The first two episodes premiered on Disney+ on October 13, 2026, at 6pm PT (October 14 in many other countries), a day after they screened at the BFI London Film Festival. The remaining episodes follow weekly on Tuesdays through the finale on November 10.
