Joaquin Torres Watch Order: Every MCU Appearance

The 2 titles below run in story order, starting with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Season 1 and, for now, ending with Captain America: Brave New World. Joaquin Torres goes from the Air Force to the new Falcon, Captain America’s wingman.

Set aside about 6h 28m for the full list of 1 film and 1 series season, which came out from 2021 to 2025. Avengers: Doomsday is next.

Who is Joaquin Torres?

Joaquin Torres was created by Nick Spencer and Daniel Acuña and first appeared in Captain America: Sam Wilson #1 in 2015. In the comics he is a young Mexican-American volunteer who helps migrants crossing the border until the Sons of the Serpent kidnap him and Karl Malus splices his DNA with that of Sam Wilson's falcon, Redwing. The experiment gives him wings and a healing factor, and when Sam takes up the shield, Joaquin becomes the new Falcon.

Danny Ramirez plays him in the MCU, with no bird DNA involved. He debuted in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) as a U.S. Air Force first lieutenant feeding Sam intelligence on the Flag Smashers.

Captain America: Brave New World (February 14, 2025) makes him Sam's partner in the field, now officially the Falcon and a loyal, slightly overeager wingman, as Sam digs into the conspiracy around President Ross. Ramirez is in the announced cast of Avengers: Doomsday, opening December 18, 2026, as Joaquin Torres / Falcon.
