About Runaways: Season 3
The third and final season moves Runaways from aliens to magic. Now the teens face Morgan le Fay, a sorceress from the Dark Dimension with her own plans for Earth, and Nico is at the center of the fight. The team ends up in a ruined Los Angeles inside the Dark Dimension, and old family loyalties get tested again.
Hulu released all 10 episodes on December 13, 2019. Elizabeth Hurley joined the cast as Morgan, and Clarissa Thibeaux's Xavin became a series regular. Scarlett Byrne and Emily Alabi play members of Morgan's coven. The season also includes a crossover with Cloak & Dagger, with Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph returning as Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson. Hulu renewed the show in March 2019 and announced in November that this would be the last season. Critics gave it 83% on Rotten Tomatoes and praised the ensemble and a surprisingly reflective ending.

Watch seasons 1 and 2 first. The crossover will mean more if you've seen Cloak & Dagger first. If you followed the Darkhold in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., you'll recognize the book here. It's the right ending for anyone who's already invested in the group. Expect a tone closer to fantasy than the earlier seasons.
