About The Punisher: Season 2
Season 2 takes Frank on the road. While passing through a bar in Michigan, he steps in to protect Amy Bendix, a teenage drifter, from a team of killers. The trouble that follows also drags him back into his old life, where Billy Russo is recovering from their last fight with brain damage. The main new threat is John Pilgrim, a religious hitman working for the wealthy Schultz family. Frank has to decide whether he's ready to be the Punisher again.
Steve Lightfoot returned as showrunner, and all 13 episodes came out on January 18, 2019. Jon Bernthal, Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah and Jason R. Moore are back. Josh Stewart plays Pilgrim, Giorgia Whigham plays Amy and Floriana Lima plays Russo's therapist, Krista Dumont. Corbin Bernsen and Annette O'Toole play the Schultzes. Reviews were mixed (61% on Rotten Tomatoes). Netflix canceled the show a month after release, on February 18, 2019, making this the final season.

- Ben Barnes' Billy Russo looks like the comics villain Jigsaw, but he never uses that name in the season.
- Frank spends much of the season out of his gear, so his return to the vest and skull is a deliberate story moment.

How to watch it
Watch season 1 first. The Russo and Madani storylines continue directly from it. It was one of the last Marvel Netflix seasons released, arriving after Daredevil season 3. Its two villain plots run side by side, so pay attention to both. When you're done, Daredevil: Born Again is where Bernthal's Frank shows up next.
