About Daredevil: Born Again: Season 3
Season 3 is the last chapter of Marvel Studios' Daredevil revival on Disney+, which continues Matt Murdock's long fight with Wilson Fisk. As of October 2026 the plot is under wraps, but the cast shows where it's going: Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter return as Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, and Finn Jones and Élodie Yung join as Iron Fist and Elektra, which puts much of the old Defenders team back together.
Marvel renewed the show in September 2025, and filming was underway by March 2026. Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Margarita Levieva, Wilson Bethel, Arty Froushan and Zabryna Guevara return. Directors include Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, Iain B. MacDonald, Jet Wilkinson and Solvan "Slick" Naim. Showrunner and series co-creator Dario Scardapane was set to return but reportedly left in September 2026 while the season was in post-production. Eight episodes are expected around March 2027, though no exact date has been confirmed.
Good to know
- Marvel confirmed at New York Comic Con in October 2026 that season 3 will be the last of Born Again.
- Finn Jones' Danny Rand and Élodie Yung's Elektra make their first appearances since Marvel's Netflix era.
- With Ritter and Colter also back, all four Defenders actors are confirmed for the same season.
- Season 2 ran from March 24 to May 5, 2026, so season 3 follows on a roughly yearly schedule.
How to watch it
Catch up on Born Again seasons 1 and 2 first; season 3 continues their story directly. Because the Netflix Defenders are coming back, rewatching The Defenders (2017) and Daredevil season 2, for Elektra, will help. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are also worth revisiting if you skipped them. This page will be updated as Marvel confirms the plot and premiere date, so check back over the winter.
