The Daily Bugle: Season 3 (2022)
TV SeriesOptional
The Daily Bugle's new social correspondent covers the strange case of Dr. Michael Morbius in four short TikTok reports. This 2022 Marvel season was made outside Marvel Studios’ main MCU line-up, so it’s optional for the watch order and works fine on its own. It has 4 episodes, about 4 minutes in all.

Why it’s worth knowing about
It's the odd one out in The Daily Bugle: the earlier videos follow MCU events, but this season promotes Morbius and is set in Sony's Spider-Man Universe instead.
About The Daily Bugle: Season 3
The Daily Bugle: Season 3 is a set of four short TikTok videos released between March 18 and March 31, 2022, as marketing for Morbius. Despite the Bugle branding, it isn't an MCU tie-in. This season takes place in Sony's Spider-Man Universe, the separate continuity Morbius belongs to.
Nicque Marina presents as a fictionalized version of herself, the Bugle's new social correspondent. Her reports follow Dr. Michael Morbius's crime spree, using footage from the film of Jared Leto as Morbius and Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft. J. K. Simmons, who led season 1 as J. Jonah Jameson, isn't credited here. Each clip runs between 51 seconds and 1 minute 37 seconds, so the whole season takes under five minutes. It's marketing first and storytelling second, but it's a neat snapshot of how Sony was using the Bugle in 2022.

How to watch it
Watch it right before or after Morbius (2022), since that's the film it promotes. It has no place in the MCU timeline, so skip it if you're doing an MCU chronological watch. The whole season runs under five minutes. If you're working through all of The Daily Bugle, note the switch: the earlier videos cover MCU events, while season 3 moves to Sony's universe.
