About Cloak & Dagger: Season 2
Season 2 moves Tandy and Tyrone from origin story to working partnership. Young women are disappearing around New Orleans, and the pair's search for them becomes the season's main case. Their search leads to a trafficking ring and to Andre Deschaine, a former jazz musician turned community figure with a dangerous hunger of his own. At the same time, Detective Brigid O'Reilly has split into two people, and her vigilante half, Mayhem, has her own plans.
Joe Pokaski returned as showrunner, with Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph again leading. New to the cast are Brooklyn McLinn as Deschaine, Dilshad Vadsaria as Lia and Cecilia Leal as Mikayla Bell, while Emma Lahana takes on a double role as Brigid and Mayhem. The 10 episodes aired on Freeform from April 4 to May 30, 2019, and reviews stayed positive. Freeform canceled the series on October 24, 2019.

How to watch it
Finish season 1 first, since season 2 follows straight on from its fallout and Brigid's arc depends on it. This season is darker and more focused, and its trafficking storyline gives it heavier subject matter. Once you're done, go to Runaways season 3, which gives Tandy and Tyrone their last appearance to date. If the leads' chemistry is what hooked you in season 1, this season pairs it with a tighter villain story.
